I recently had to add more oil to my car after doing an oil change and putting around 4k miles on it. I noticed when looking up under the car there was a significant amount of oil located everywhere on the right side of the engine around the crank and everywhere below that (there was no oil leaking from around the oil filter area). So took my 03 MCS to Mini of Concord for a checkup. We they put it on the lift

when the technician was looking and told me my Timing Cover was possibly leaking or is it my crank seal maybe?
