Auto Level Headlights

I had the water pump replaced in my 09 MCS this weekend by the dealership. When I got the car back I noticed that my lights don't auto level when the car is started. Is this something that they could have disconnected and not re connected? Thanks!

Correct driver side. They are little arms, i had to make a custom bracket when i lowered mine to compensate.

I have been searching previous posts, but can't find anything specific...so, I am going to hijack this thread. My headlight beams move up and down while driving, particularly during braking. It is hit or miss and just started this week. We have been under the car to check if the connection came loose after recent service. Everything seems connected correctly. We are still under warranty, so the dealer will fix...just wondering what may cause it.

The headlight should be adjusting, it is an active system. So under braking you should see some adjustment.

Yeah, that's what my husband said when I told him about it monday...until he drove it last night. It is freaky annoying and a traffic stop waiting to happen. Can't imagine how distracting it might be for the cars in front of me. Called dealership and they haven't heard of this issue before and I don't know how I am going to replicate it during daylight. Regardless, taking it to them in the am.

The connecting arm to the sensors must be broken if they are floating, they do how ever move normally over bumps/ depressions in the road surface.

Front drivers' side in the 2011. Control arm appears intact, but will look closer tonight. Its the weirdest thing. it isn't throwing a code either.

There is the sensor and the arm that connects to the c-arm.
