Standard Warranty Length?

So when I bought my MINI I thought I was told that the standard warranty is 36k miles. I know the complimentary maintenance is 36k. I was looking at their website and it says 50k for the warranty.

Is this something they recently changed or does my 2011 R56 actually have a 50k warranty?

Sweet! I've been thinking for the last 7 months that my warranty was going to expire at 36k. I guess I don't have to worry so much about driving and putting miles on the car

Thanks for the quick response!

pre paid maintenance is 3 years 36,000

warranty 4years/50,000 miles on my 07

don't confuse the two - different things . . .

Check your paperwork, because yours may be different! Don't assume it is the same....

Are you saying that the new car warranty can be different for every new mini sold in the US? Not sure I understand what you mean?

If it was sold in the U.S. new, it is four years or 50,000 miles. They are not different.

simple solution ... did you save your window sticker? It is printed right on there, for a 'new car'. On the other hand if you bought a demonstrator or other 'used car' you don't get the sticker and then . . . .

I didn't say that AT ALL... But instead of asking on an internet forum, isn't it better to look at your own paperwork?

It's kind of a big deal to let it go out of warranty, wouldn't you want to have the paperwork in front of you, just to be positive of the dates, etc? I sure would.

Trust, but verify!
