'07 S Engine Wobble Sound
Hey guys, I just picked up a used MCS from a Toyota dealership yesterday and I'm in love. It is immaculate and just tapped the 30k mile mark.
The car drives great, but I noticed a slight sound coming from the engine bay; it sounds like a pulley is wobbling. It's very slight.
I also notice a slight, fast, ticking noise when pulling into my garage (because I can hear it then). It kind of sounds like a higher pitched lifter tick.
I didn't know if these were normal motor noise, or something was up.
Thanks in advance guys!

Welcome to the sounds of direct injection! When my dad first heard my car he said, "Wow that little f***er is noisy!"
It would help if you post a video of when your first start the engine cold, and then another after the engine has warmed up to tell if there are any abnormal noises.

Here's the video guys.
Other than the ticking I initially thought was a problem, in the background you can hear a faint wobble/ flutter, rotational noise. It's loudest at 0:01-0:06 and 0:25-0:29.
It goes away when the clutch is depressed. The car shifts like BUTTER, and everything feels fine. I've searched this and a thread came up saying a lot of people have a rattle noise and it's the dual mass flywheel and some guys have it, others don't, but it's nothing to worry about?
