Power Steering+Autocrossing
Power Steering+Autocrossing
I just replaced my power steering pump at 85k miles. I can't explain how much fun I have "autocrossing" the occasional large parking lot. The problem is I feel like I'm putting stress on the steering and maybe that was a part of the last failure(I know they suck anyway). I was just wondering what you guys might think. Any full out autocrossers have common problems?
I autocross nationally with the SCCA, and since I bought my '02 at the end of '09, it's probably been through 50ish autocrosses, most of which on hoosiers. Still on my original pump.
I'll just go ahead and start shopping for a pump now that I posted that.
