throttle "stutter" under acceleration

2009 Clubbie S with ~23k on the clock. Started with what I guess can be called a stutter under normal acceleration. When "spirited" I haven't experienced the issue, but don't want to be that jackass tearing from one red light to another all the time.

Anyone experience it and have suggestions? I plan on getting it up to the dealer, but he's not right around the corner......

Do you do a lot of city driving and not get the RPMs higher than 3500 RPMs? Before doing anything else, go out and flog the engine; which means after getting to normal running temp, rev it up to redline several times under load. Spend a good 10-15mins on the highway and "clean the cobwebs" out... The high RPM will burn off any residual gunk on the intake side of the engine, and the scavenging from valve overlap with clean out the intake valve area.

I try to do that, guess I'll have to have a bit more fun just to be sure.
