Hi All;
I have a 2 month old Cooper and have had a few cosmetic issues. The first was the chrome separating from the rubber on the hood belt line. I hope that is the correct terminology.
The second, which I just noticed, is the paint peeling and bubbling around the fog in the front left fog light housing.
The first was fixed on the spot by swapping out the piece, the second will have to be painted by the dealer.
Has anyone had these issues?
Mechanically everything seems to be ok.
Oh, one other question: the oil level is halfway between the marks on the dipstick. Should I top it off and if so how much would that be?

I would check the oil level with the engine hot.

Good idea to to top it off.Maybe 1/2 a qt.?Just pour a little in at a time and check.
