2007 Mini S, My Actuator I believe is busted. I have tried to hold the lock button down for 10 sec to reset, and disconnect the battery. I pulled the panel of the door off, and it now has a second panel with several torque screws, and I can't see the Actuator. Has anyone opened it up, know how to get to the actuator, or see an instruction anywhere? It's not under warranty.

Wait, you're trying to replace the door lock mechanism in the door?
The locking mechanism is right at the seem of the door; the latch catch is integrated into it.

Remove the door card panel and window from the door; then you'll be able to gain access.
