So my wife's car had the battery go, she jumps the car and now I am getting a Peake Code Reader code" P1692"- Electronic control monitor level 2/3 motorized throttle control and fuel injection switch off "A""

Does anyone know what the heck this means? This is the first time I have used this on my wife's 2005 MCS and I am stumped. I find myself to be a pretty good mechanic not afraid to tackle ANYTHING on these little cars. Can anyone help a guy out and let me know what I need to look at?

i had that code show up as well but my battery was dead once charged code disappeared

 

From my understanding it has something to do with the throttle body either getting contaminants in the butterfly valve (by cleaning or seepage into the electronics). From what I have heard, you have to replace the throttle body if the error doesn't go away.
