After listening to Randy Webb this weekend at a pulley party along with several other true believers, I think I'm going to switch from Mobil 1 to Redline 5w30. After referring to the maker's list of retailers, I can only find one retailer in Virginia who sells it at $9 a quart. Shipping cost for on-line searches make it prohibitively expensive. Anyone know of a supplier who isn't charging an arm and a leg???

 

Thats about right.
I am in Calfornia and found 2 places. One charges $8.44 and the other 9 even.
I think its just an expensive oil.

 

Race central here in Portland, Oregon charges $7.99 a quart or $79.99 for a case of motor oil. Gear oil is $8.49qt. Their # is:503-283-8426. They ship UPS and a case weighs ~24lbs.

Hi Redleg13, its was nice to meet you at the Richmond PP. I get my Redline from Performance Products in Pittsburgh PA 412-487-5004. The should cut you a price break on a case & will ship UPS. I swear by Redline and thats the only oil I'd consider leaving in for 10K miles.
