A/C Compressor questions '03 MCS
'03 MCS with just over 110k
Issue:
Is the A/C pulley suppose to spin freeley with no belt or is it locked up?
Diagnosing:
Started hearing noise which quickly turned into vibrating clatter noise in belt area. Pulled the tensioner off & found the small shock was dead. After replacing tried spinning the A/C compressor pulley by hand with no luck. My guess is the compressor is locked up & needs replacing. If so is there a reliable after market A/C compressor to trust?
Debate:
If I use the A/C delete what are the gains? (mileage, HP, etc.. .)
-MOTD is getting further out of my sight-
