I've got a 2006 mini hardtop with 79k miles and I am hearing a squeaking coming from my right rear wheel well. This happens when I am idle, as soon as I turn my car on from a cold start. I have researched and researched and think I know what my problem is: my Leak detection pump (LDP) / DMTL has an issue. So this brings me to my questions:

1. First things first, is my guess of the LDP my true problem?
2. Is this an easy part to change?
3. Where would the best place be to buy this part?
4. Does anyone have additional tips or pictures or anything?

Also, I am having a situation where when I am in drive, at a complete stop, my shifter/gear stick rattles like crazy!! I drive an automatic, and if I put slight pressure on it towards the drivers seat, it stops.
