Yellow "Brake" Light - Hill Assist Fail

I was driving around tonight, stopped at the store, and when I restarted, the Yellow "Brake" Light was on and Hill Assist did not work. When I restarted the car when I got home, the light was off, and Hill Assist was working.

Has anyone else had this happen? How worried should I be? I'll call the dealer tomorrow.

Thanks

Worried; not much.
But should it be looked over, documented and dealt with? Yes.
Give your dealer a call and follow up.

I stopped I stopped by the dealer today. He said that often that happens when the break fluid is low. Check the brake fluid and it's fine. He said not to worry about it until I come in two weeks for some other service.

I got the same problem too a couple of weeks back, went to garage and replace brake fluid + bleed the system. Problem still persisted.... then went back to dealer and they claimed its got something to do with my steering control switch. I reckon its a indication problem so I just live with it since then. I just put the ignition off n it resets again. The lights came out half the time I drive and its rather annoying. Not sure if changing the expensive steering switch will solve anything. please do update how they solve your problem. Cheers!
