Weird engine sound in clubman s when accelerating

It's hard to hear in this video unfortunately, the first time - when i say 'there it is' it was a single burst of the weird higher sound just BEFORE I spoke - a little bit later you can hear a bit of the engine going "wahhh wahhha wahhh (up and down), but it's light and UNDER the main engine sound
2009 mini clubman s. any ideas? This usually happens as the car is warming up. Hard to explain but the engine just sounds off :-). Thanks. Jeff
