What Happened?

Hey Guys and Gals!!!

So, the strangest thing happened today. I just went to leave from my girlfriends house and my car appeared to be dead, No power, nothing! So, I go into her house to grab jumper cables. In order to move my car I had to put it in neutral, as soon as I did that all the power came on and I was able to start my car. Is this a sign, or a common problem? Or was it just a weird situation? I guess it might be good to mention I changed my spark plugs this morning, but I don't see how that would affect power. What do you think?

Eric

I've had that happen once or twice. No explanation. Nothin was ever wrong with the car. But wouldn't start and appeared beyond dead, tried again and good to go.

Battery is likely going bad. The MINI is fairly electronic heavy and if the battery drops just a little it won't turn the car over.

They did a good job in keeping it authentically British.

Sounds like a loose or corroded battery cable.
You may have disturbed one of the connections while changing the plugs.
When you moved the car you MAY have undisturbed the battery cable.
