2012 Cooper Hatchback changes

s it my imagination, or (compared to my 2007 "S" which I traded in for my Base Cooper):

- door handles "easier" to open
- doors lighter (cheaper)
- RAIN WATER OF ROOF NOW ENTERS INSIDE WHEN WINDOW
OPENED (did only a bit on 2007)
- plastic materials inside cheaper (visor, handles, etc.)

Obviously some "free" extras: cheap carpet mats, steering wheel controls, etc.

Anyway - anyone use those side window add-ons that deflect water, or have a sources for those?

Tim

I have a 2011, and I struggle with water from the roof pouring into my car all the time. I've been told that rain guards for Mini windows aren't possible. Something about there not being anything to mount them on.

Anyway, if anybody knows anything different about the rain guards, I'd definitely be interested in finding where I can get my hands on some.
