so recently my 05 r53 has been acting weird. i just replaced my brake pads, both sensors, and rotors. My problem is when i drive around the e-brake light comes on randomly and than shuts off.(Why is this?) and also is ther a sensor that can either be replaced or just disconnected so the annoying light dosent come on anymore>

the switch that controls this light is actualy at the back side of the handbrake lever. . . . Haynes recommended attack approach is to remove the rear part of the centre console

 

ok? so after i pull apart my center consul does the switch just pop out or what do i do?
