Heated Seats- Fuse blowing

Have 2006 S and when I turn of the heated seats after a few minutes the fuse gets blown. Any ideas what to troubleshoot? Thanks, PK

I took it to the dealer and they told me the heating element is bad in the seat and I would have to order a new bottom seat assembly..over $1000. Anyone replace a bad heating element?

Just get some longjohns. LL Bean is your supplier.

My heated seats are broken too but I have stopped caring. It is probably the heater element too, fuse would last anywhere from a few days to a few seconds.
