Bouncy Idle

Im having the bouncy idle syndrome. I havent had the car for even a year. I only have 3129 miles and havent had any issues. The idle was a bit jumpy from when I first got the car but nothing major. Im just guna take it to the dealer for its yearly oil change and let them know about the idle.

Mine had the same thing - picked it up on Sept. 12th - started having the bouncy idle within about 2-3 days. I thought it might just be the motor breaking itself in so I didn't think much about it. Then it thru a code about 5 days later so I took it in to the dealer - they found the oil fill cap was not properly secured - causing a vacuum leak - that caused the bouncy idle. Since I had not had the oil fill cap off and the car only had 23 miles at delivery they apologized for not catching it during their pre-delivery inspection..... Bottom line - these motor are VERY vacuum sensitive - double check your oil fill cap to make sure its on tight. Other than that check your vacuum lines, PCV lines, and valve cover gasket. Good Luck!!
