Frequent but random engine cut off Help!

Hey all,
Recently, I have been having this weird issue with my 05 R53.
When I am taking a sporty turn & cruising on the hwy & hitting bumps OR just sitting still idling (Less frequent the other two)
Cuts my engine out for a couple seconds.
It does NOT happen every time, however, it is getting more frequent..

I have checked for vacuum leaks and found a line thats been leaking and I fixed that, changed out spark plugs, swapped spark plug lines, checked obvious grounds, battery terminals, etc...

I just don't know what is wrong with it.
When it stalls, sometimes RPM just stays as they are & all the lights and electric equipments work fine. Just the power gets cut for a period of time.

Things that are bad on the MINI:
1) engine fan (low speed is shot for the second time)
2) ABS / Speed sensor is messed up
3) bearings are due for replacement and CV joint boots are shot.

Well well, none of those seems to be related as 1) It also happens during cruising on a chilly day, so overheating doesnt seem like an issue. 2) speed sensor won't be cutting off engine power, 3) bearings are physical and definitely not related to sudden stalling & power cut offs.

So my only guess is something is wrong with fuel filter? maybe the rubber seals are bad? (I did re-use one of my stock rubber seal).

MAP sensors?

Clogged up injectors?

Any inputs would be really appreciated.

Hope it helps.

Any codes?
When this happened on another car i had, the ignition coil was bad...
When you say rpm stays put...do you mean the guage freezes, as the car stops running for a few moments?

I'm not sure, but if the minis have a traction control and the abs/speed sensor is out then that could possible cause it, though. Even though you already have it figured out, and this is not the problem in your case. I am just saying that if the sensors measuring the wheels' speed are out then it could be falsely sensing the wheels rotate at different speeds than one another then that could cause the reduced/delayed engine power mode to kick on because the computer thinks that the wheel(s) is/are slipping when, in reality, they are not.
But then again I do not know all about minis specifically quite yet, I am still learning and researching. But just speaking about cars in general, this could be a possibility.
Glad to hear you got it figured out, though! Hope the mini is running well.
