Aux Driving Lights
Aux Driving Lights
Just picked up an MC40 and the driving lights are not coming on. Before I chase the wiring (after checking the bulbs), has anyone else had this happen? Tips? Tricks?

factory instaled driving lights will only come on when the bright/high beam are on. Is this how you are checking?
If yes and they still don't come on, the next thing I would check would be the inline fuse for the main power feed for the DL's. You should find a wire coming out the back of the engine compartment fuse box, attached to the same lug as the main battery cable. Trace this wire towards the firewall and you shoud find an in line fuse holder. Check this fuse . . .
If still no then there is a wiring problem that will be a bit harded to find
here's the factory install instructions http://www.minimania.com/pdfile/NMA3030_INSTR.zip
