Specific problem with 5-speed transmission?

HEH! Somehow I KNEW someone would ask that...
I used a 1/2" ratchet, with a long enough extension to get past the inner fender liner, and the 17mm socket... I threaded my left arm up through all the suspension to keep the socket locked on the plug, and cranked on the ratchet. It did take some grunt to get it to break loose - WARNING - once it breaks, watch out for broken knuckles! Yeah, it's one of those loverly sorts of plugs...
You might be able to use a breaker bar if needed. Once you break it loose, it threads right out. There wasn't any threadlock or anything on it, but someone, IMHO gorilla'd it at the factory!
I'm not really sure WHY they seriously put that sucker in there soooooooo tight! The bottom one was MUCH easier.
