AC not working, Radiator fan is working

My AC seems to be blowing slightly cool air. I have climate control and I set it to 62 to test, and it might be blowing 80 degrees. My radiator fan turns on exactly as it should as far as I can tell.

The only problem I'm currently having with my R53 is that my battery voltage is sitting at 10.5 VDC when the car is off. Which tells me that I have one dead cell. I checked it today, I'm returning the battery tomorrow since I bought it 2 months ago. Could the two have anything to do with each other?

Thank you.

could be a 'simple' a/c problem

like the compressor ($) or the condenser ($) or the dryer ($)

it's an 04 .... it is time for things to break

any decent auto a/c shop can give you an estimate . . . .

My story has no bearing on yours, but, this spring I tried the AC and it wasn't working right, but last year it was fine. So, I put on guages and it was out of freon (or whatever it is). I bought a can of goo with dye an oil in it, added just about the entire thing, and it has been working great for 6 weeks now. As a matter of fact, it is better than last year (which was good,) and much better on the wifes that just got a new compressor, dryer and was filled by a mini tech at a mini service center...go figure.

My advice, you should risk the $10, buy a can and give it a shot. I get the stuff with dye and oil if it is low. If it leaks right out, you know what to replace, if it is full, it won't take any and if it works, you are done. I don't see a huge downside.
