Which Crank shaft Pulley and Thermostat ++ long

So what I thought was a A/C compressor turns out to be the Cranks Shaft Pulley and a leaky thermostat as well. I see many available online, which would be best. My understanding is I need the vibration damper as well. I don't race this car, it's a daily driver, cruiser and take me to work car.

1. What parts would be most appropriate? Should I get them from the mini dealership or elsewhere?

2. What else would be good to do at this time? I know they dealership mentioned the maintenance II checkup coming up and filters and the drive belt. Would it be a good time to do these things since we will have the car apart? I know it is due for a coolant flush so I figure it would be a good time for that since we will have to drain quite a bit of it to change the thermostat.

3. Any books, links or you tube videos that would be helpful for these procedures? Is there a chilton's or haynes or equalvalent for the 2005 MCS?

Any and all help is very appreciated!

Much better than a Chiltons or Haynes manual is the Bentley factory service manual. Is the thermostat housing leaking or is the thermostat itself bad? You don't lose that much coolant replacing a thermostat or housing gasket.

The crank pulley is easy for the best pulley get an ATI Super Damper, it dampens the best, even better than stock. Also make sure you replace the crank bolt.

For the thermostat just get another OEM thermostat with gasket we keep them in stock and can ship it all together. You can't buy just the gasket.

For instructions the Bentley Repair Manual is the best.

They said it is the gasket that is leaking. Is there another good crankshaft pulley that is a bit more reasonable? 400.00 is a bit out of my price range and I really need to get this sorted as my car could leave me stranded at any moment
