Oil light with only 1.5k miles?

So here is the scenario.

Im driving and suddenly the genie oil lamp looking thing pops up on the dash and alerts me. It goes away for a second and comes right back a few seconds later. I pull over and read the manual and it says that oil pressure is low and that I should pull over immediately, shut off the engine and call the dealership.

So I did that and 2 hours later the tow truck shows up but by the time I get to the dealership, the mechanics went home and I cant get a loaner because its not the same dealership I purchased my car. The service rep however told me that he couldnt find anything when he read the key in his computer, and that the oil looked a little low so that was probably it.

I take it today to the dealership, they top off the oil, and I leave. 10 minutes after I drive away the light comes back on!!!!
Idk what to do....the car is brand new and should not be having any problems...please someone help me out here.

You should have trip interruption insurance which may cover a rental car if you can't get a loaner next time.

Presuming there isn't an oil leak that the dealership missed, it sound suspiciously like an oil sensor or electronics problem of some kind.

I agree that a new car shouldn't be having those kinds of problems. But about all you can do, at least for the moment, is get it back into the dealer and explain to them what you just explained to us here... Good luck!
