Hot start issue?
I know this may not be the time of year to ask but I was at the dealership last week and was told this was a known issue. The problem arises when I have driven the car for 30 minutes or more at highway speeds then stop at a store for a few minutes. I get back in the car and it will not start on the first try. It will always start up on the second try though and this only occurs in temps above 60 degrees.
This was a problem I didn't question here too much as I was awaiting the v36 software. I finally had the upgrade but it was cold so I couldn't tell if it had been fixed until one weekend it reached the mid sixties. The problem was still there. I mentioned this last week when I was back at the dealership and was told by one of the mechanics that this was a known issue. He said a software fix was in the works.
The thing is that I don't ever recall seeing this problem on NAM. It's not a big deal right now but I know once spring gets here the problem will be back. I was just curious if others have this problem with their MC or MCS. I have an 03 MCS.
