Buzzing noise when accelerating (Cooper S 2009)

I noticed the noise about 2-3 months ago but started to become more frequent recently. I noticed today that it only happens when I accelerate and it seems to be coming from the driver side dash or maybe door panel.

Can anyone please help and tell me what might be wrong with my car? Car is MCS 2009 with less than 15K. I've never had any mechanical problems on it prior to this weird buzzing noise.

Here is a video, notice the sound around 0:09 and 0:17 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB7sDuEyITk

I had the exact same buzz and it turned out to be the knee panel under the steering wheel. I put some black rubber washers in the gap where that panel meets the center console and it took care of the problem. Next time you accelerate and you hear that buzz, press on the right side of the knee panel and see if it goes away. Good luck!
