i have the warning lamp on that a bulb is out somewhere on my car...
is it possible to erase it without fixing the problem?
i have an obd2 device that can clear CEL issues, but not this one.
it is the indicator that looks like a bulb with an exclamation point in it...
thanks

Could be your TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Have you checked your tire pressure lately?

Just like the circuitry that monitors the airbags, the system that monitors the bulb health isn't part of the OBD-II system, so you're not going to be able to clear it with any standard OBD scanner.
And even if you could clear the light without fixing the underlying problem, it would just come back on as long as the monitoring circuitry is working properly.

You can remove the hot and cold bulb checks in the FRM module by using NCS Expert. Head over to the Electrical Modifications section and see my post about closing windows with the FOB or the few other getting started threads.
It is not a trivial setup and it basically requires a dedicated laptop and $100 or so cable.
