Sorry for a first post. I've been lurking like crazy until this since my girlfriends mini about had a heart attack and stroke the other day (broken belt, idler pulley gone mad, overheats, a/c doesn't work)

Anyways, we bought the car used with mods already on it so I'm exploring the car but then I saw this connector in the engine bay and wondered what the heck it should connect to.


Any ideas???

 

I pulled out the airbox today (aftermarket) and tried to see where it goes but I have no clue :(

 

What color are the two wires? Also, can you take and post a pic that shows where the wire is coming from (from back of engine or front)? Tried looking through the Bentley but need more info.

 

Backup light switch connector on the trans.

 

That might explain why the reverse light is not working. I'm assuming this connector connects to the switch part located on the trans?
