Oil Leak! Please help

Hey guys,

I noticed oil leaking in my engine. It appears to be coming from the area that I circled in these pictures. Any ideas how to fix this? Hopefully this is nothing serious.

Thank you so much for your help.

I honestly have no idea. Is the metal thing hanging down the gasket? The "fresh" oil seems to be dripping from there.

The boots on the horns of the intercooler are likely loose. Take off the intercooler cover and its an easy repair, but needs a torx driver.

Is there a write up on this I can read online?

Kind of inexperienced and want to do things proper.

It doesn't really require a write-up. Get a torx driver - 25 or 27 I think - and remove the plate that covers the intercooler. Beneath that cover you will see that on either side of the intercooler there are flexible rubber boots that connect the intercooler to the 'horns' that mount to the supercharger, and to the intake manifold. The torx bolts that secure those rubber boots get loose, allowing the oily fuel-air mixture circulating therein, to leak out. Really quite simple.
