Serpentine belt wear prematurely/strangely

Hi all,

I just check my serpentine belt on my 2004 ONE which it was changed few months ago and not used for more than 60000 km (i think at most is around 10000km - 20000km) and found out it prematurely/strangely wear out (please refer to the photo). Just want to know any idea why this happen? Is it:

1. The serpentine belt is cheaply made (poor quality)
2. The person who did this doesnt job it properly
3. Some parts is failling (but which part)

Thank you very much

From what I can see in photo's is that the belt is not aligned with the pulleys.
Would check the belt tension assy. to see if it is worn out.
Don't know what mfg. of belt you used but I would look at that also.
Lot of cheap chinese & japenese crap being sold now days.

Is it me or does that look like the belt was not looped around the pulleys correctly ?

Looks like I can see the internal threads on the side of the belt where the ribs used to be and the back of the same belt at a the same time......
