Husband hit a pothole-Dash looks like a Christmas Tree

Hi all!

I have a 2008 Clubman named Reggie with 50k miles on it. I have had a faulty tire sensor in the past, but they replaced them all at the dealer, and that was over a year ago.

Right now in Arkie land its wet, cold, and getting icy. MY husband and I decided to carpool today, which meant he dropped me off at work. I forgot to tell him to avoid the giant pothole on my work street (I drive around it automatically), front left tire went in, jarred the whole car, and it was like new years on my dash.

The triangle with a circle around it (the DSC I believe), the e-brake indicator, and the angry exclamation point all came on both in the window and their displays on the tachometer. He dropped me off, and said they stopped flashing in the window but stayed lit in the displays.

Have a FUBAR'd my sensors? The nearest dealership is 2.5 hours away. Is this something my local guy can fix? We've got winter weather coming, am I in danger driving without DSC?

Thanks! Love my Mini!

I had this happen from the exact same issue (hit a pothole). I pulled the car over, turned it off, waited 15 min, and restarted - everything went back to normal in terms of the lights, no running issues.

The next time I brought it in, I had the alignment checked and it was pretty off, so might want to have that looked at.

check your battery and the connections. This sounds like a loose ground connection somewhere.
