I noticed this weekend that I no longer have DRLs. I could have sworn that I had them prior to the v36 update.

I am curious if anyone else had this happen.

thanks.

I think he's talking about the daytime running lights...

that said, I can't comment since I never had them enabled in the first place

Day Time Running Lights/Lamps.

I am not 100% sure of this but I believe when the dealer updates your software they are doing a complete override(not like aftermarket chips which most if not all just update certain parts of the software) of the existing software with the new one..so convience options programmed in may need to be redone. I'd just give your dealer a call and let them know and they will redo those settings for you for free.

I thought that the DRL's and other convience dealer programable options were on a different computer than the ECU computer. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Cheers,

JD

thanks for the heads-up on the DRL's. I have mine turned on and will remind
the dealer to keep it on after the v36 upgrade when i go in for the Inspection1.

I like to keep the DRL's on because i can drive in the snow without running
the HID's and not have to worry about the headlight washers getting iced up
and mechanisms breaking each time i run the winsheild washer. even got
a pair of Polarg H7 Superwhite's in there so its great in the snow without any
glare you get from the HID's.

I had my DRLs activated before v36, and they are still active now, although I didn't know to mention it to the dealer.

However, I only recently noticed that the remote "windows down/sunroof open" option is NOT working (I haven't wanted to use it since getting v36 mid December--only found out it was disabled when I tried to show a friend the neat feature!)

I'll notify my dealer, but probably won't return to get it reactivated until spring anyways, since I drove 100 miles to get the v36 upgrade (but it was so worth it).

I'm kinda wondering now if there's anything else deactivated that I haven't noticed, but can't think of anything...

my remote also doesn't open anything. The key still can close items though, so I guess that's a good sign.

I too traveled 100+miles to get the v36 update. I'll wait until a nice day to head back to Maryland for another update.
