Hey everybody, does somebody know what the fault code P1128 is? Per Autozone they used the Volkswagen codes and it says:

Definition
Long term fuel trim B1 system too lean
Explanation
Failed MAF
Probable Cause
1. Low fuel pressure
2. Vacuum leak on engine
3. Failed H02S (Heated oxygen sensor) Bank 1

Is this the same for the MINI? If not, what could this be? Anybody ever run into this code and how did you fix it?

A lot of the uncommon P codes on the MINI are pretty specific to our car....

Did it cause a CEL to light up?

 

Yeah, it threw a CEL last night. I checked the oil and I was about a quart low and filled it up. (Long story short, last time I had the symptoms of the timing chain rattle AGAIN, they said I was low on oil.) So I drove off and it was still on and still felt a little sluggish and was acting a bit wierd. Drove around today and it's been fine. I wonder if the MAF is dirty or I need a new O2 censor? I was kinda hoping it was the HPFP so I can finally have that replaced. I really don't want to go to the dealership.
