ok so i got my clutch replaced about 600 miles ago and everything seemed absolutely perfect! but once my car hit 100k some weird things started happening. at first 3rd gear didnt have much power and when i got on the highway the engine would start to whistle like a jet turbine getting ready to take off. then in lower RPMs the car kinda sounds like its grinding.
when i got home i started thinking about all the things it could be. there was no smell at all coming from the car, no clutch smell, no grinding metal smell, no type of burning smell. the car still handles just fine. no over heating. nothing

the next day i drove a bit and all the whistles and things went away. now its a very very low whistle in 5th gear at high speeds and a weird "grinding" type sound at low RPMs in 2nd or third. you can really only hear it if your costing in 2nd or 3rd

the car dirves absolutly perfect! no power loss anymore or anything. jus ta weird nnoise. coudl it be a throw out bearing?
