Cruise control
I went thru this on my '03 MCS, first they replaced the brake lite switch (I'd check this first as it's easy and inexpensive to replace) then the clutch switch (ditto) then the steering angle sensor, then it finally turned out to be the ignition switch (just the electric part, not the key part)
So check the easy things first, the brake switch could be bad or just out of adjustment.

Hmm, I'll start checking those in the morning. Something I hadn't thought of before- It started right after I put in my PF transmission mount inserts (and had all the associated stuff unplugged, including the ecu). Could that have anything to do with it, do you think?
Seems weird that it'd be a coincidence that right after I unplugged that stuff, a sensor failed...

I hope it's something simple. We had a similar problem with our '03 MCS back in '04 or so. It took the dealer 6 attempts to finally fix it (under warranty). Darned near everything was replaced by the time they were done. But (knock wood), it's been fine since.
