I've had my scoop replaced 4 times now. And NONE of them were covered under warranty!! AND, I now need a 5th scoop, and my current one is warped, pealing and worse than any from the past. And my car has the heat sheild, which seems to do nothing.

The problem is, the scoop should NOT be plastic. It should be a METAL PART.

I just called MiniUSA to see if they would help me, and they would not. I'll tell ya, I am sooooooooooooooo dissapointed in Minicooper. They DO NOT, and HAVE NOT, stood by their produt whatsover. It's amazign to me how poor their customer service is.

It's hurting them bigtime too. Example, I just bought a new SUV for my wife, and got a Range Rover. My choice was Ranger Rover or a BMW X5. Guess why we didn't get a BMW?

What's the cost to replace one?

Would getting a CF one be able to withstand the temps?

$167 from Mini for the chrome one. Otherwise you get it primed, so you need to get it painted as well, which is REDICULOUS.

There lies your problem - chrome and painted does not hold up - we gave up at 2 of them in chrome. We then switched to carbon fiber - the dealer replaced it FREE. You just need a better stealership.
