I have an 03 MCS with 112k miles I recently had a crack in my head, I had a used head and cam with 66k miles put on it. Had the head machined and cleaned and used new head bolts. Changed the oil with synthetic. And torque deverything down correctly. Now it is making this noise. It doesnt seem to go away but changes with the RPM's as the video shows.

Anyone out there know what this is? Or have experience fixing this?

There was a thread on almost the same thing a few months ago. Ended up he had put the rocker arm axel, the big round, long rod that the arms slip onto, upside down. Never know?

 

thatnks foir the tip, I will ask my mechanic about that one. I hope it is something goofy he did incorrectly. I have spent a decent chunk of change getting this back on the road.
