srs light question

The airbag light is on and one of the snsors in the female part of seatbelt is bad. I have a question about after installation of the new one. Is a ecu reset necessary? Do I need a scan guage?

You shouldn't have to. It may take more than one cycle of the start sequence tho.

The Scanguage does not reset airbag lights. Need a separate tool for that.
