have an 05 MC that I just did a replacement power steering pump on. I also did the resistor fix on the fan.

noticed on cold started that there is a rattle, almost rhythmic, coming from right around the alternator. This rattle goes away as the engine warms up, but every time you start it cold, it's there. It seems to be coming right from the alternator, but the alternator has been working perfectly fine.

is there something else in the area that could be making this rattle like a bad idler pulley or something? It's hard to stick a rod down there an listen as there are spinning belts everywhere.
