Thumping noise + a few others

I tried searching the forums for this but didn't seem to find anything...

I'm by no means super knowledgeable of cars but... sometimes when I turn off the car I can hear a strange thumping sound coming from underneath my car towards the middle... I'm hoping it's nothing and just part of the cool down, but it's very random and I've never seen another car do it.

Anyone else experience this and know what it might be?

Another issue I had is probably my fault, but since I installed my HID lights sometimes the sensor for the passenger door goes off and tells me to shut the door and will not raise the window all the way when I close the door. (It seems to happen mostly at night when my passenger light flickers on and off) I'll need to tinker with it but how is that even connected to each other? haha.

Sometimes when I have the AC on lightest setting I can hear a very faint fluttering(?) sound but as I turn the AC on higher setting it seems to go away. (seems to come from the driver side)

Also I can assume that Mini will repair what seems to be a tiny rip in the foam underneath the passenger leatherette and a tiny spot of rust coming through the paint on the rear. (I seem to have alot of chips mostly on my lower driver door and a few on the hood but that's to be expected) But she is only 10 months old, does anyone else have any issues with chipping?

Thanks for the advice
(if i had kids they would live in bubbles)

The thumping sound you hear is your exhaust. It expands/contracts ever so slightly with varying temperatures.

Your car will also fart several times after shutdown due the pressurized fuel system relieving itself.
