Squeaky . . . headliner?

So as winter comes rolling into DC, I notice a bit of a squeak from the headliner just in front and to the right of my sunroof. I hear it on bumps and some turns. If I press the area, it is easily reproducible. It seems like it may be an area of sticky glue underneath that's not holding right. Or maybe an unclipped clip? Any thoughts or quick fixes?

mine did it early on, it's some kind of toggle wiring that's loose, dealer can fix it OK

My headliner/sunroof rattles and squeaks A TON. I took it to the dealer many times - seemed they fixed it each time and then it would come back in a different spot

Hi,
I got the same thing on mine. It made me sick, it was really annoying. I thought it was the sunroof but in fact, it was the headliner that hits the sunroof gasket.
I just remove the trim of the sunroof, and put some foam between the headliner and the roof. 15/20cm * 3cm, and 1mm thin.
Now, it's all quiet.

Yeah, I should probably get around to doing that on mine - I'd imagine sticking foam all around the sunroof between the headliner and the sunroof gasket would cure all of my damn rattles.

could you give pointers on this. How do you get the black halo off from around the sunroof? and likewise replace it?
