Strut tower accident

Sorry if this is already out there but my brothers iPhone won't let me search for some reason

We were trying to install my strut tower guards and I put too much torque on it somehow or maybe the bolt was just weak but it sheared at the base. Can anyone give me some insight on how much of a mess I made? Or maybe a part number for the replacement bolt or do I need a whole new strut top part?
Thanks

I did the same thing when installing my strut defenders...

Just go to the hardware store and get a 1.5" long 5/16" bolt, nut and washers... You will need a long extension to insert the bolt from the bottom, but works like a charm...
