My passenger seat is broken. I and mini have tried to crack it back in place only to ill effect. So I want to know who fixed it. How they fixed it and at what cost.

I had mine done in Fresno at Custom Mini Shop. Because I had an extended warrantee it was only $50.00. The frame was ordered and then with the battery disconnected so as to not cause an airbag light the seat was removed. The seat back frame was attached to the old seat airbag and seat back were all moved to the new frame followed by reassembly. I think it was a couple hour process and parts. Sometimes you can put the seat all the way back once your inside the back seat assuming that the seat is laying back put your knees on the back of the seat and press. If you have tried this more then likely the seat back will have to be replaced.

 

Bummer. I just bought my car on Saturday and the previous owner left the repair receipts in the car. I noticed the passenger side seat rail, etc were replaced. I can post the price and parts that were replaced later on if you wish.

 

Nevermind, just checked. It was replaced under warranty, so no price.
