Where to buy a connecting rod?

I need to replace a connecting rod in my 02 R50. I see a lot of aftermarket rods but they are all for the S. The dealership and other sites on the internet sell only the set of 4 rods and pistons for $1200. I don't need all of that, just 1 rod. I'm searching salvage now....

I guess I could have my own made. Model up a stock one, reuse the old cap, have it designed to weigh the same as the existing one....
