Stubborn Bulb!

Alright! Now my driving light, located in the bumper in the same area as the turn signal bulb, has burnt out. I bought the new bulb, and CANNOT for the life of me get the darn thing out! I pull the black thing off the back of it, and then I'm not sure if there's a trick to it? Or if it just pulls out?! I need help. Can anyone tell me what to do?!

a. that is not a 'driving light' and you confuse some readers by calling it that

b. all that is, is the parking light and yes they (light holder) can be a ***** to remove but know that a 1/4 turn WILL remove the light holder. You may want to apply some lasting lube b4 you restore the fitting. AND may want to find someone with a small hand to help you twist it out . . .

+1 to Capt BJ's advice. The one thing I have experienced is getting the bulb socket to turn can be a real pain. Very small particles of dirt get into them and make them stick.

there is a set of hose pliers that make it easy to remove. just like needle nose but the end is a little circle... enough to grip the bulb socket without damaging it and turning

Thanks guys. Went down to the Napa to get the bulb before i removed it. Ended up being $16! I WAS LIKE WHAT?! for that little bulb. Yeah, not even the right one. Lol. What really gets under my skin is, they never gave me a receipt for it. So i'm out that $16 plus whatever the new bulb is. Oh well. :]
