clicking sound from the front

[My car suddenly developed a clicking sound. It is only under normal acceleration from a dead stop or city braking. It seems to be originating from the left hand side of the car. The clicking is usually three or four in a row. Nothing noted during turning.

My car is 05 MCS with 28k miles on it.

Make sure you axle nuts are torqued down all the way. I had what sounds like the same problem and that turned out to be the solution.
