TMAP/MAP sensors

So I recently ordered a MAP sensor and when it arrived I had some confusion on where each sensor was located. So I went online and scanned various threads/diagrams and came to this conclusion: there is a possibility that the MAP sensor is shaped differently than the TMAP sensor? Both sensors that were in the car when i bought it are identical and the MAP sensor I received was identical to TMAP sensors I find in diagrams. But the MAP sensor in diagrams is shaped differently than the TMAP sensor. Are these diagrams just incorrect are MAP sensors and TMAP sensors identical in appearance?

No, look on the front of the sensors. They have different part numbers etched into them. While they look the same, they are different. If I recall, they have different connectors, but i might be mistaken. Unfortunately it's late, but tomorrow I can get you the numbers. Actually I posted the numbers in one of the threads a while back. But yeah, if you have the two sensors side by side, they look identical.
