Something weird is happening on wife's 10 MCSa, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and I am not sure how to explain this to you all.

This is not every time just sometimes and here is the situation, after long or short drive and stop at the parking lot (in order to park) and change gear to R from D, then I heard some noises from gear box (not sure exactly from where) and I slightly can feel something from brake (my foot on the brake while changing the gear) and change gear to D from R again still I heard some noises and I can feel something from brake same as well.

Normally I don't hear and I can't feel anything from brake when changed the gear to R from D or reverse, but sometimes it happens. Do you have any idea about this? I would like to ask this here first before I go to the MINI service. I am pretty sure if they (MINI tech people) can't duplicate this issue then they probably will say it's a normal....

A little more specific, what do you hear and what do you feel?

 

Thanks and yeah I need to get more specific info but I just don't remember exactly now. My wife said that it seems to be okay so we will see.
