OBD Settings Randomly Changed?
OBD Settings Randomly Changed?
*If this has been discussed previously and I missed the thread(s) in my searches please forgive me/feel free to suggest what keywords I might search under to find this topic.*
I know Mini's often have their little gremlins so perhaps this is no big deal, but has anyone else ever had some of their customized settings change at random? I realize each key has its own settings for many things; I was using the same key I originally customized my settings with however.
The only things I can tell that changed without my input were the turn signal setting (i had this set at 3x but it reverted back to 1x) and the Lock/Unlock setting (I had this set to unlock both doors at the same time and it reverted back to having the driver door unlock first than the pass door).
The battery has not been disconnected and there hasn't been any loss of power to the system that I am aware of.
This is on a 2010 JCW Hardtop which just hit 1700 miles.
Any thoughts?

I have what seems to be the same thing happen to my car but what I find is that I accidentally used the "other" key fob" to unlock the car.
What I eventually found was that I needed to unlock the car with the remove button and not the convenience access. This cleared the problem every time. Just opening the car with the CA for some reason does not always set the system back to my fully programed key fob.
Now this may not work for you as my car is an 08 and has slightly different main programing than your probably.

Not sure on that as I have only once used the actual metal key once and that was because I drained the battery while doing an electronics mod and closed passanager door while the car was locked.
